Amanda Cosco shares top Fabrics for Better Workout Wear on CBC’s the Goods

Isn’t it about time your workout wear got an upgrade?

In case you missed it (or in case you live outside Canada and couldn’t catch the broadcast) Electric Runway founder Amanda Cosco made her second appearance on CBC’s The Goods yesterday. This time, she was sharing insights about better fabrics for workout wear. If you aren’t already familiar, The Goods is CBC’s daytime talk show that features lifestyle content. Hosted by Steven Sabados, Jessi Cruickshank, Andrea Bain, and Shahir Massoud, the show covers everything from food to fashion and beyond.

Last time, Amanda shared some of her favourite wearable tech products, but this time she returned with top fabrics for better workout wear. ‘Tis the season for activity and the great outdoors, so it’s a good time to remember that not all fabrics are created equal. In this segment, Amanda breaks down the different technical properties of common workout wear, and even gestures to the future of fabrics (hint: pretty soon you might be charging your underwear!). Want to learn more about the fabrics mentioned? Check out this blog post from CBC.

Note: If you are watching inside Canada, check out the episode on CBC The Goods here. Our segment starts at 11.00
