Fashion Incubator San Francisco Hosts NewCo Bay Area Festival

Fashion Incubator San Francisco presents a panel session on trends in fashion technology, retail, and ecommerce with Levi Strauss & Co., Intel, and macys.com

San Francisco – January 2, 2017 – Fashion Incubator San Francisco (FiSF), a non-profit organization that supports fashion apparel designers in becoming successful San Francisco entrepreneurs and employers, announces that it will host a panel of industry experts to discuss the latest trends and opportunities in ecommerce, textiles, manufacturing and marketing for emerging fashion businesses.  The panel includes FiSF Advisory Board member Maureen Conners, Levi’s Paul Dillinger, Intel’s Andrew Lutjens, and macys.com Nicole Mason The event will take place on February 7th, 2017 as part of the NewCo Bay Area Festival.

“Fashion Incubator San Francisco is proud to be a NewCo conference host company for the third consecutive sold-out year,” said Jeanne Allen, Executive Director. “It is our pleasure to invite Bay Area entrepreneurs and business leaders to our 3500 square foot incubator facility at Macy’s Union Square for a behind-the-scenes look at the place where fashion and tech converge.”

NewCo festival programming is organized into 26 tracks with events around the Bay Area. Host companies are selected based on their mission, and participants choose which organizations they want to explore. The companies invite participants to their home office to experience firsthand how these inspiring organizations drive purposeful transformation in their industries. Events are led by founders and executive leadership.

Featured Speakers

Maureen Conners (Fashion Incubator San Francisco) – Maureen Conners is a Board Advisor to Fashion Incubator San Francisco and a former Board Director for Deckers Brands (NYSE: DECK), makers of Ugg.  She has held Senior Executive roles with P&L responsibility at Gillette, Levi’s and Mattel and helped build world class global brands. Her consulting focus is on Next Generation Wearable Tech for Lifestyle Brands and VR/AR for Next Generation Retail.

Paul Dillinger – Paul Dillinger is the VP of Global Product Innovation at Levi Strauss & Co. He has also been leading Levi’s® latest venture with Google: which weaves Google Jacquard’s technology into the Levi’s® Brand’s iconic product. He is also the driving force behind creating the world’s first jean made from regenerated post-consumer cotton waste with the new partnership between Levi’s and Evrnu.

Andrew Lutjens – Andrew Lutjens is Fashion Business Strategist at Intel Corporation in the New Devices Group. He leads Intel’s fashion strategy for Wearables- including Program and Project Management of strategic partnerships and driving business development to establish Intel in the fashion industry with brands, designers, retailers, media, influencers, etc.

Nicole Mason – Nicole Mason is the Director of Digital Media and Marketing for Macy’s and has held a variety of Marketing positions at Macy’s. She heads the development and implementation of an integrated marketing strategy for Macy’s Labs innovation efforts. She is responsible for the marketing involving valuable long term relationships with Macys.com core customers within the innovation and experimentation platform.
