Augmented reality (AR) poses unlimited possibilities for transforming the way we interact with the world around us, but can the technology help retail out of its rut? Since 2008, over 12,000 physical stores have been closed due to changes in spending habits and the rise of companies such as Amazon. As technology transforms the way we shop and sell, can innovations that blend physical and digital lead to product discovery, new revenue streams, and a closer, more intimate relationship with customers?

Next week, join me for a discussion on augmented reality for retail. Thursday, March 21st from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., AWE Night TO is hosting its March meetup at Startwell at 786 King West.
