Keynote: TECH-À-PORTER: ART. INDUSTRY. & FASHION TECH

Amanda Cosco Fashion tech Expert

On November 9th, Electric Runway founder Amanda Cosco delivered a keynote presentation on fashion tech at Mutek in Montreal. The theme of TECH-À-PORTER: ART. INDUSTRY. & FASHION TECH, and the idea was to look at the ways technology is transforming fashion. Self-tying running shoes, dresses that serve you drinks, prickly second skins that quiver when looked at—these are no longer the stuff of science fiction. Amanda’s presentation showed the arc of her career covering fashion tech over the last year-and-a-half both in Canada and internationally in Finland, Germany, Sweden, and Russia.
